🍄 Free Play Beats Super Mario 64! 🌟

We did it! Led by incredible speedrunner PoisonPumps, Free Play Richardson officially conquered Super Mario 64, grabbing 70 stars and defeating Bowser in under 7 hours!

The speedrun was a true collaborative effort, with dozens of arcade patrons grabbing stars and passing the controller to the next person in line. As the clock approached 9pm the princess had been saved and the arcade had finished celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Nintendo 64. That might be it for 1996, but we will be back in the future to celebrate more of years past. Let us know what other consoles you would want to see us celebrate here at Free Play!
Mario out! 👋🏻

Wanna play pinball with friends?

Free Play Pinball League Season 21 starts next Wednesday (09/30). New players are always welcome, so if you've ever played pinball and thought to yourself, "Hey, this is kinda fun!", you should come join us!

This season we will again be at Free Play Richardson every Wednesday night at 7:30pm. The league will run 8 weeks, you can join at any time, and your top 5 weeks are counted towards final standings. Free Play is one of the national leaders in arcade community events and it's things like our annual pinball league that has folks calling the arcade their home away from home. Come see what the community is all about this Wednesday!
