What does it take to shoot fireworks over one of America's most iconic landmarks? The answer is far more complicated than you might think.

This week on Pyro Talk, I sit down with Kevin Gilfillan of ShowTime FX and Pyro Spectaculars for an inside look at the legendary Fourth of July fireworks display at Mount Rushmore. We dive into the massive logistical undertaking, the long list of federal, state, and local agencies involved, and what it takes to safely produce a fireworks show at a national monument.

We also explore ShowTime FX, their new wholesale division serving qualified pyrotechnicians with an extensive lineup of 1.4G Pro Line and 1.3G professional fireworks. Kevin gives us a look inside their catalog, what sets them apart, and how they're working to support the professional fireworks community.

If you've ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of one of America's most recognizable fireworks displays—or you're looking for another trusted source for professional fireworks—this is an episode you won't want to miss.

As always, if you enjoy the episode, please like, share, and leave a rating. Every share helps introduce more people to the art and science of professional pyrotechnics.
