Culture Talks is an ongoing series of lectures by community members on a wide range of topics such as culture, history, art, philosophy, religion and more. For this series of presentations, we’re taking a non-partisan look at our political systems, the history of how things developed, and some meaningful ways we can get involved locally. Rhinelander High School history teacher Steven Jopek will present a history of voting in the United States, where we’ve been and how we reached the process we currently use.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! Due to the Milwaukee Symphony performing in town next Tuesday, we've decided to move our In Progress open mic event up a week so that people can attend both!

Come on out tomorrow night (9/22) at 7PM to enjoy some community art sharing!

Presented by ArtStart, WXPR Public Radio and hosted by Nate Sheppard, In Progress is a unique event where participants are encouraged to share something they're working on in any stage of the process (hence the name "In Progress").

Join us at The Hilgermann Center for Community in downtown Rhinelander at 7PM on the second-to-last Tuesday of this month and show us what you're up to! Whether a song, a poem, a painting, anything is welcome and you will not find a more supportive group. We can't wait to hear and see what you have been creating!
