For those of you that don't know, sweet little Maeve Leigh Meehan made her grand entrance Friday afternoon 🩷

I am a little overwhelmed right now so don't be surprised if I'm a little missing in action while we get into the swing of things. We appreciate all the love and patience we've received from everyone so far. This little girl has been the greatest blessing.

I have officially made the hard decision that I will not be taking any more new appointments before baby M makes her arrival! I will continue to work through the appointments I currently have scheduled for August and then will be officially on leave! (Or if she decides to come early I might have to reschedule some things anyway)

I still am unsure when I will be coming back so anything booked for after baby is technically tentative as well, as I want to be able to take off as much time as I can afford and slowly transition back in but once I have a better idea of timeline I will make another announcement!

In the meantime, if you want to help pay for my leave, we are doing raffle baskets with lots of goodies including gift certificates!! See our previously shared post for details!

Thank you all for all the love and support you've all given us. This is such a huge change for us and I am so grateful to have you all as our village 🩷

Just let me know which one you’re looking for in your description!

Reminder, all August appointments will be tentative and subject to change last minute as baby could decide to make her arrival at literally any time now! But I’d love to be able to do a few of these before she gets here!!

Super annoyed because I scheduled this post for yesterday and it just totally disappeared 😒.

So I'll just keep it short and sweet I guess!

●All August appointments will be tentative so don't be surprised if we book and I have to cancel last minute because I'm in labor lol.
●I'm hoping to get through all of my current booking requests by the end of the week!
●I am still trying to tattoo up until Baby M makes her appearance but I am for sure much more limited nowadays lol 😂
●No one has taken me up on my gift certificate sale yet so this is your reminder to do so if you want to help fund my maternity leave!
●Might try and do a small flash drop in the next few days🩷

We will officially be having a baby in one month or less and I am trying to prepare for maternity leave and paying my bills while I'm gone! So I will be doing a gift certificate sale!! (All certificates to be redeemed AFTER maternity leave is over)

I plan on tattooing as long as I can until she makes her appearance so from here on out every appointment will be tentative and subject to change at any given time. I do not have any set dates for leave as it'll just be when she decides to come until I can no longer afford to not be working lol so just keep an eye out for those announcements as they come. I'm also somewhat tentatively taking appointments out into October but those will be very loosely planned.

In the meantime, if you want to get yourself a gift certificate, let me know and I can either set up a time to get them to you in person or I can do via Venmo or Cash app and hold it on file for you! Whatever is easier for everyone involved!

I'm going to be vulnerable for a second, I hope thats okay.

This pregnancy has been singlehandedly the hardest thing I've ever had to endure. Don't get me wrong, I'm so so grateful to be having this baby. But it has seriously taken a toll on me. My first trimester was mostly a physical toll. Now in my third trimester its not only physical but I've been really struggling mentally.

Everyone talks about postpartum depression. But I don't think prenatal depression is talked about enough. We've been playing with medications and dosages for weeks and so far not much is working. I struggle to get up and live life every single day and the fatigue and exhaustion is only making it worse.

It has affected my job. I am so grateful that most of you are so so understanding, especially those of you who have had kids and hard pregnancies. But it doesn't stop me from feeling like a horrible person and a failure knowing I have so many messages just sitting in my inbox. So many requests just collecting dust because I can't get myself to take the time to book things. Especially the clients who don't realize where I'm at emotionally right now.

For the first time in my almost 9 year career I'm just feeling entirely defeated. I'm being so hard on myself and I know I need to give myself grace but I also know business is business and if I'm not working I'm not making money.

To be fair.. I don't even know where I'm going with this post or why exactly I'm spilling my guts other than to hope that people will realize that I really am trying my best. If you're still waiting to get booked, I'm sorry. I SWEAR I will get to everyone eventually. And if you decide its been too long or its too late, I understand that too wholeheartedly. Especially knowing I've been having to keep my days fairly short.

I am considering and figuring out the logistics of a gift certificate sale for certificates to be redeemable after baby gets here after maternity leave I just want to crunch numbers first before I launch that but keep that in mind!

If you're wondering how you can help, just know that being kind and patient and understanding is all I need right now from you guys. I love you all and I am so grateful for the village that has gathered for us in this tough time. Your kindness never goes unnoticed. 🩷
