Been so busy creating with the kids that I haven't had time to post new photos! It's not too late to give your child a week of playing on Mt. Olympus and learning about legends from all over the world-Legends and Myths session starts Monday. Join us for some great playful learning/fun!

What an amazing week the Fantastic Fairies/Mythical Beasts session has been! Making papier mache magical unicorn horns, fairy toadstools, creating Fairypedias and Bestiaries, making fairy cigar box houses, fairy teacup houses, and that's just naming a few! A truly magical week!

Fantastic Fairies and Mythical Beasts off to an amazing start today-the kids made all kinds of "shinies" to attract the elementals. We learned about pixies and Big Foot from an enchanted cauldron. We made fairies out of wire, pipecleaners, and fabric. To say nothing of the foot comparisons with Big Foot that included fuzzy fabric, and our first pages in our Bestiaries and Fairypedias! We also played hide and seek all over the library, and a werewolf tag game that was awesome!

Making mummies, painting circles around Botticelli, learning how to make Renaissance style paint, creating castles and the creatures that inhabit their moats, just to name a few things going on at the Time Travelers session this week-all led by J. Cuckoofrucius Clock, who speaks in verse and helps us explore other dimensions! We even wrote to ancient Egyptians-and they wrote back! Come join us for future sessions-pure magic!
