Had a great time racing the Night of Terror Shootout at Modesto RC Raceway with Justin Lane and Matt Danella. Always good times. I had solid qualifying and great clean exciting mains.

4x4 SCT I broke out in Q1. I had the loudest truck on the track as it needs some tlc lol. Q2 i put myself in P2 for the mains. With a rough start in main I dropped to 6th. I was able to put my head down and work my way back up to 2nd where I finished behind Plumlee Racing Services.

Mod Truggy I had a great run in Q1 taking P3 overall. Q2 was just more practice. Nice clean start in the main for everyone and the clean racing continued throughout the race. Battled for the 3rd spot the entire race. Rick Fayad lead the entire race and made some mistakes towards the end allowing Doug to close in on the lead. I had the speed to be on top and finished strong catching 1st and 2nd on the last lap. It was a race to the finish line for all 3 of us finishing in our qualifying positions all within .7 seconds apart! This was the highlight of my night.

Up last I decided to enter the Spec Slash Relay race. I was randomly paired with Austin Thiry. Austin drove Q1 and finished 1st. We were off to a great start. I ran Q2 and also finished with the TQ run. The main was a lot of fun with a bunch of obstacles placed throughout the race lines with each driver running for 3min twice throughout the race. Austin and were able to put it together and take the win!

Great night of racing at a great facility and with great people. If you have never made your way to Modesto RC Raceway I highly recommend it! Thank you Pius Isaac for the pizza! Thank you Pickle and Marcus for a clean smooth event!

Looking for helping hands at the track this Wednesday 2/28 from 330-6pm. W**d eating/pulling, draining water from tracks and general maintenance. Anyone can participate and all are welcome.
