🍀 A Little Irish Luck in the Snow 🍀
Seattle surprised us with its first snow today — slippery roads, power outages, and winter weather that kept most of our Statue Stylists safely at home.

But Dixie and her family didn’t give up.
Bundled in hats and boots, they braved the cold and snow to dress our walking statues for St. Patrick’s Day. With green coats, lucky shamrocks, and a sparkling garland linking them together, the statues are now ready to celebrate by the lake.

Sometimes the styling team is large.
Today, it was just one determined intrepid family and a lot of heart. Thank you, Dixie and family- Jenni Rimbaugh, and Tas Owen Rimbaugh for keeping the tradition alive — even on a snowy day. ❄️

Valentine’s Day 2026 ❤️
With hearts full of joy, we dressed the statues as little Cupids of love — sending smiles to everyone passing through the park. Laurel, Liz, Mo, Dixie, Sue, Margo, Joyce, and today, a special welcome to Bon and Dora.

No one is forced to come.
No one seeks praise.
We are simply happy knowing that a single smile from a passerby is more than enough.

On a cold but sun-filled winter day, seven of us gathered at Gene Coulon Park to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day by dressing the statues in outfits prepared by Laurel.

With signboards inspired by Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, we hoped to offer something quietly meaningful—to inspire hope, justice, and unity in a time of division. Cold hands, full hearts.

And we miss Tina—a key member of our group and our beloved tailoring lady. Her creativity and spirit remain with us always.

Flood warnings tried to dampen our holiday spirit, but our power ladies — the Statue Stylists — decided that Christmas joy should not be canceled. 💪🎄
We showed up, laughed, and styled anyway — and just when we needed it most, the rain held back. After everything was finished, our leader Tina smiled and said:”Thank you, ladies, for making today happen. Mother Earth and Father Sky let us style without liquid sunshine. It was a success!”
After the styling, we gathered again to warm our hearts and celebrate together. Thank you, Laurel, for hosting us at your cozy, festive home — your hospitality, beautiful table, and generous spirit made the day even more special. ❤️
