✨ Help Keep the Dead Artists Ball Alive! ✨

Now that so many of you experienced the magic of the Dead Artists Ball, you know how special this event is for Reno’s creative community. My vision was to create an immersive night celebrating art in all its forms — and you showed up, embraced the theme, and made it unforgettable.

But I want to be transparent: this first year came with unexpected production costs that went beyond what ticket sales and sponsorships could cover. The Sierra Arts Foundation — the nonprofit beneficiary of the event — stepped in to help make the night possible, but it also meant they carried expenses that weren’t originally planned.

If you loved this event and want to see it return — bigger, bolder, and sustainable for years to come — please consider making a “Just Give” donation to the Sierra Arts Foundation today. Your support helps cover this year’s shortfall and ensures that next year’s Dead Artists Ball can continue to celebrate and fund the arts in our community.

Saturday’s event was an incredible celebration of art and community. Unfortunately, one of the Oscars used as décor was taken. While I understand wanting a keepsake, this wasn’t meant to be taken.

The Dead Artists Ball is more than a party—it’s a passion project created to bring Reno an immersive costume gala that celebrates every form of art. From live performance to painting, music, dance, and beyond, this event is designed to inspire and connect.

What makes this night even more meaningful is its purpose: proceeds benefit the Sierra Arts Foundation’s Art Integration Program, ensuring children in our community are introduced to the arts at the primary school level—where creativity can change the course of their lives.
