OIL PASTEL SMUDGE

I recently had the fabulous experience showing my Oil Pastel Smudge works at the RTIA Reno-Tahoe International Art Show.

I was inspired to create, share, and post this reel after the show.

Many thanks to RTIA, and the many Latimer members who helped to make this happen for all of us. I can not thank you enough for all the hard work and time it took to put the show together.

What a wonderful way to share the Art that is so valuable to a community.

Let's ALL Support the ARTS!

I am pleased to announce my new Collection of Oil Pastel Smudge© works. "The ZEN Collection"

I will be sharing the works at the 2026 RTIA Show Reno-Tahoe International Art Show. I have decided to go with the concept of Healing and Zen. For the past few years I have had the great fortune to work with the Su***de Prevention Network, receiving grants through Lifetime Arts, the Nevada Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, and Creative Aging.

Through this progression of teaching art and seeing first hand, how creating Art is healing - there is no denial.

My sincere thanks to the many agencies that exist to provide us with the Arts that make a community what it is. Make More Art!
Support the Arts, and the Artists! See you at RTIA, Reno!

Many Thanks to all Involved! Unfortunately this is not the whole group that attended the several classes offered of creating with a "SMUDGE." But it will do for today!

You will never know how beautiful the journey has been sharing the technique and seeing the amazing work you are able to create in a technique that is so close to my HEART!

OIL PASTEL SMUDGE© - ART . MATH . HEALING
I asked AI how the Oil Pastel Smudge method is related to Math! Here is what it came up with.

Relating to the Healing of Creating Art...nothing can replace it, as in "AI" ...It is in the real thing of "Creating Art" on your own, and in the joy of taking a class with other individuals - IN PERSON. So there you go! Sign up for an "In-Person" Class today!
