We are so excited to perform at this event!

We're just one week from our Holiday Show! We know this is a busy time of year with nearly every performance group out there spreading holiday cheer! This family-friendly, community-driven event will feature:
> High Desert Harmony Chorus
> The Hug High School Choir
> Free Range Quartet
> Dancers from Around the Stage
> Our very large and fabulous community guest chorus with the Hug Choir and HDH for a total of more than 80 singers on stage!

86: The Dance Suite is our newest evening length comedic theatrical dance work!

The work explores what it is like to work in a restaurant with varying characters, comedic dialogue and modern/contemporary dance. We showed a sneak peek of this work at The Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival this past summer, and at our fundraiser DRINK DANCE DONATE. We are so excited to premiere the final product in January at our home base Good Luck Macbeth!

A quirky theatrical dance company that brings professional work to local dancers and theater technicians in Reno, NV

Artistic Director, Keely Cobb, founded Around the Stage in early 2018 with a goal to provide professional performance opportunities to local performers and theater technicians in the growing arts community that is Reno, NV. With a B.A in theater and a minor in dance, Cobb uses her theater background to produce lively theatrical works that combine character work and dialogue with modern/jazz dance styles to create fresh and often times quirky new works.

Around the Stage is currently made up of ten company dancers and has presented three evening length dance works including; Synopsis of This. (2018), The Poetry Movement (In Collaboration with Collateral and Co., Artown and Nevada Humanities 2018) and The Showbiz Cabaret(2019). Their most recent work is a music video to L.A based band Adriana and the Wildflowers song ‘Take My Hand” (July 2020).

Around the Stage has performed as guest artists at Reno Little Theater, Encompass Academy and Ghostlight TV and is constantly finding new ways to work within our growing arts community!
