Attention in the PITS!
As many of you know Gary stepped down from promoting a few months ago. He has been helping out while we hunt for someone to take over. Well the wait is over.
Steph has decided that she will be running the program.
We will also take this opportunity to make some program changes and up our RC Game.
New rules that are very close to the Colorado 1RC Racing will take effect January 1st. During the next few months the track with work with you getting your cars set up for the new rules. There will also be finishing touches to the current track to improve our program.
For now, we will leave you with this, which will be the basic car guidelines for all classes. More guidelines will come in the next few weeks.
ALL CARS
1. MUST USE 1RC PARTS ONLY. NO AFTERMARKET PARTS. CARS CAN ONLY RUN PARTS DESIGNED FOR THAT CAR. NO USING SPRINT PARTS ON LM CAR.
2. IF IT DOES NOT SAY YOU CAN DO IT, THEN IT IS PROBALY NOT OKAY TO DO
3. USE OF 3D PRINTED PARTS THAT ARE INTNEDED FOR REALISM / SCALE LOOK. EXAMPLE 3D PRINTED ROCK GUARDS AND AIR FILTERS ARE OK
4. THE AFTER-MARKET BODY PIN CONVERSION WILL BE ALLOWED. THERE IS NO PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGE
5. NO AFTERMAKET BEARINGS OF ANY KIND. MUST USE THE 1RC BEARINGS IN ALL APPLICATIONS
6. NO USE OF AFTERMARKET STEERING SERVO
7. USE OF AFTERMARKET RADIO/ RECEIVER COMBO IS LEGAL
8. ALL CARS MUST USE ONLY 1RC SPEED CONTROL (ESC).
9. ALL CARS MUST HAVE ALL STOCK WIRING FROM THE ESC MOTOR, NO HARD WIRNG ESC TO MOTOR (MUST USE STOCK CONNECTOR FROM ESC. TO MOTOR)
10. NO CHANGING WIRES FROM ESC TO MOTOR OR CROSSING THE WIRES FROM ESC TO MOTOR.
11. NO ADDED WEIGHT TO THE CARS (CARS WILL HAVE A MIN. AND MAX WEIGHT) VARIES PER CLASS (SEE WEIGHT SHEET)
12. NO REMOVING ANY CHASSIS MATERIAL, FOR REDUCING WEIGHT, THIS INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO CUTTING OUT OR DRILLING HOLES IN BATTERY BOX, CHASSIS GUSSETS INTENDED FOR STRENGTH, REMOVING PARTS OF THE CHASSIS FOR THE PURPOSE OF SAVING WEIGHT.
13. ALL CARS ARE SUBJECT TO TECH AT ANY GIVEN TIME
14. ALL CARS MUST HAVE A SEPARATE TRANSPONDER
15. ALL SHOCKS MUST MOVE UP AND DOWN WHEN ON THE CAR WITH EASE, ONLY ONE O-RING PER SHOCK. ABSOLUTELY NO INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL LIMITERS
16. LOCKING UP THE UPPER CONTROL ARM WITH CASTOR IS NOT ALLOWED
17. ALL SHOCKS ENDS MUST BE STOCK SIZE, CAN NOT MAKE LONGER SHOCK ENDS (BALL CUP END) TO ADJUST RIDE HEIGHT
18. TORSION BARS ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO BE USED ON THE CARS
