The Remsen Arts Center is grateful to the Remsen Barn Festival of the Arts for gifting $21,200 to our capital improvement funds. In 2023 the arts center was awarded a Technical Assistance Grant (TAG) from the Preservation League of New York State and their program partners at the New York State Council on the Arts. This grant funded an Engineering Structural Analysis that evaluated the structural components of the building and recommended solutions to any issues. The study listed twelve major deficiencies with repair estimates between $75,900 - 288,000. To continue providing a high-quality experience for both performers and patrons, we identified three critical needs to address this year: foundation repairs; basement entryway restoration; and old steeple tower repairs. The Barn Festival of the Arts funding will go a long way in fulfilling this years goals and keeping a vibrant arts community in Remsen.

Calling all Classic Car owners. The Remsen Classic Car Parade and Show will be held during the Remsen Arts Fest on May 30th starting at 12pm. Cars should report to the Remsen High School @ 11:30am.
