Got a wedding or anniversary in your future or a group fundraiser?? The Avalon ballroom has rental options from a multiple day rental to set up for a wedding or a 1 day rental for a quick party of choice or complete weddings from ceremony to the dance. Besides just the basic building,table and chairs rental, some extra rental items are available if wanted. Please text 712/541/0239 if have any questions. The Avalon Ballroom will be celebrating 90 years in business in 2027. It was built on grounds from the historic July 4th 1936 fires that destroyed Remsen’s downtown district and opened on Labor Day 1937!

Would like to thank all that came to our Richie Lee and the fabulous 50s dance/show . It’s great to listen to the great songs of the 50s/60s and to see people enjoying the historic 90 year old Avalon Ballroom on what it has to offer and showing off their great dance moves!!! Many people travelled 100s of miles from all 3 states in the area to enjoy our original wooden dance floor that was constructed back in 1936 and opened on Labor Day in 1937!! Just glad to see the people enjoying the true art of dancing, thank you from the Avalon crew!
