🌊🛶 HIWASSEE RIVER WATER UPDATE! 🛶🌊

​Hey river lovers! ☀️ Due to the summer drought schedule, water releases at the Apalachia Powerhouse are staying the same for two more weeks. Here is everything you need to know to plan your next kayaking, rafting, or paddling trip! 👇

​🗓️ Now through Friday, June 26
​We will continue the drought schedule for 2 more weeks. Friday, June 26 will be the final day for the shorter weekday schedule:

​Monday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM 🕒

​Saturday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM 🕒

​🟢 Starting Saturday, June 27 (Through Labor Day Weekend)

​Get ready for more time on the water! Extended summer hours kick off a couple of days early on Saturday:

​Monday – Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM EVERY DAY! 🕒✨

​🇺🇸 4th of July & Beyond
​Holiday Weekend: TVA will keep us updated before the 4th of July weekend on any potential changes to the schedule. 📢

​After Labor Day: Water will be available on Saturdays, and TVA will try their best to provide Sunday water releases as well! 🤞🌊

Wow, what a week! 🌊🚣‍♂️ It has been an absolute whirlwind of a busy day and week here at Webb Bros Float Service! ☀️😎

Here’s to an amazing, fun-filled day on the river! 🛶✨

​From the early morning boat loading 🌅🚤 to unforgettable times out on the water, we had it all today—even a little bit of rain! 🌧️ But the real magic happened at the end of the day with a stunning rainbow right over our take-out spot. 🌈🙌

​A huge thank you to all of our returning groups who have supported us over the years. We couldn't do this without you! ❤️🎉🎆

🌊 Hiwassee River & Apalachia Powerhouse Water Release Update! 🌊

​Hey everyone! 📢 Due to the current summer drought schedule, we have some updates on the water release schedule for the next few weeks. Please make sure to plan your river trips accordingly! 👇

​🗓️ Weekdays (Monday – Friday)
​Starting TOMORROW (Wed, May 27)
​⚡ 2 Generators will be running
​⏰ 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

​🗓️ Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

​🟢 No changes! The schedule remains the same.

​⏰ 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

​🤝 What's Next?

We will be meeting back up on June 15th with the TVA, local Outfitters, and State Parks to review the conditions and discuss next steps.

🇺🇸 Tomorrow is Memorial Day, and the Hiwassee River is calling! 🇺🇸

​We’ve had an awesome last two days getting folks out on the water for rafting and funyaking, dodging the raindrops and making memories!

🚣‍♂️🌧️ The good news? Tomorrow is looking better with a very low chance of rain. ☀️
