Tonight, 60 years ago the Beatles first appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show and music was changed forever. Where were you? Every Sunday, my grandmother would come over to visit. She always brought delicious cakes and pies. Everyone would sit around the table, talk about the weeks events and enjoy those delicious cakes. This night, everyone got up from the table, went into the living room and turned on Ed Sullivan. I sat with my grandmother, who loved Ed Sullivan and loved to make comments about the artists on the show. The Beatles made their debut, I was fascinated, I didn't want to join a band but I wanted to play their music for millions on the radio! Of course grandma and my parents were shocked by their long hair but I could see my mother's foot beating to the music. The next day, I went to the 5&10 and bought about three Beatles singles. I was a fan and I still am!
