Dj Biff A seasoned dj with over 30 years experience. DJ Biff Piner is a seasoned dj who has worked in the music industry for over 30 years. twitch.tv/djbiffpiner

Along with being a dj, Biff also wrote an independent music column called “Beat On This” which was printed by Window Media in gay publications in cities around the country. He was also a Billboard reporter who had dj residencies in Minneapolis, Atlanta, Baltimore, and Philadelphia. After many years of late nights and traveling, Biff decided to take some time off to open two salon and spas with his

husband and partner of 20 years. But you couldn’t take the music out of him. He continued to write music, write reviews and collect music to play for private parties. He has remained close to many of his friends in the music industry giving feedback and support for many promoters and artists. Many many years ago when I was djing in Atlanta, I was writing a music column called Beat On This for The Southern Voice. I was also working at E.D. Gourmet records. Dolly Parton had released the single for Peace Train with remixes by Junior Jasquez.
I was not fond of the remixes, as I thought it was too much of a novelty for Junior Vasquez. My review of the single started with "Dolly must need a new pony. Why else would she release this remix?" I received tons of hate mail. (Good for publicity by the way.)
A few weeks go by and next thing I know, Dolly's team reached out to E.D. Gourmet to have our mannequin, Eydie Gorme, wear a custom Dolly wig for a month and raise money for AID Atlanta. The wig arrived in a fancy box, on a wig head with pins all around it to keep it in place. (She was very well packed)
Dolly had a great sense of humor and used the opportunity to make a positive out of my negative. (And give her fans the chance to tell me off to my face. Lol)
It was an amazing experience I will never forget. R.I.P. Dolly.
