WE HERE AT THE RHS THEATRE ARE INCREDIBLY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE FULL SEASON FOR THE 2016/2017 SCHOOL YEAR!!! Here it is folks:

CHICAGO - Chicago is an American musical with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and a book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Set in Prohibition-era Chicago, the musical is based on a 1926 play of the same name. The story is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the "celebrity criminal."
SHOW DATES: 11/10 - 11/12 and 11/17 - 11/19

THE JUNGLE BOOK - The Jungle Book is the story of a boy abandoned to the jungle, Mowgli, who must learn to find his place within the longstanding community of animals. He is taught by Baloo the bear, Bagheera the black panther, and Akela the old wolf. However, Shere Khan the tiger does not believe that Mowgli is part of the jungle only because he is a human. Mowgli must learn to abide by the ways of jungle law and stand up to the fierce Khan.
SHOW DATES: 3/2 - 3/4 and 3/9 - 3/11

ALMOST, MAINE (Student Directed Show) - One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.
SHOW DATES: 1/20 and 1/21

DRAMAFEST - A collection of student written, directed and produced short plays. The Green Bill is family friendly, while the Gold Bill is more PG-13. It's always a surprise what kind of shows you might be able to see!

Hello all! We're incredibly excited to be reviving this page for the 2016/2017 school year! Make sure to check up here for updates on our season and any other cool events we do. RPAC Tech Training!

Do you want to do all of the cool behind the scenes work that makes a show run? You need to be trained first!
Tech training is going to be held in the RHS Theatre on September 21st & 22nd from 10 AM to 3 PM both days.

IMPORTANT:
- Attendance at the entire 2 day training is required. Partial training does not meet the school district's requirements for you to do technical work in the theatre

- A safety awareness letter must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. Pick this up from Ruth (same office as Mrs. Doty, Mrs. Powell, and Mr. Robertson) This will reserve your space in the class. Space is limited.

Thanks to the yearbook for wonderfully representing our drama program this year!

They gave us nearly a page per show, which has never been done before, and allowed for lots of fun pictures. Yearbook, you all put in a lot of hard work and it really showed. Thanks to an awesome yearbook!
