Does Coca-Cola actually work just as well as vinegar as a rust removal agent? I remember from middle school science fair exhibits that it will indeed dissolve a tooth… but how about a railroad spike? To satisfy my middle-school minded curiosity I took 3 spikes of varying states of decay, and submerged them for 48 hours in a solution of 100% pure coke, with 3 spikes of equal decay being submerged in solution of 5% acidity vinegar for our comparison study. The winner is clear, is it who you expected? Let me know down below in the comments!šŸ˜‰

And to all 5th grade science teachers I give my full permission for you to use this video for demonstration purposes. šŸ˜Ž

Rust Removal: A side by side comparison between a leading brand of high performance energy drink( Monster Energy ), and a standard 5% Acidity Vinegar solution (typical grocery store item).

The results are self evident. Check it out. Thanks for watching and thanks to the person who suggested that this would be faster than vinegar.

Well it’s that time of the year again: Father’s Day. Spend all day on a random project that brings you a sense of satisfaction when you’re done if that’s your thing. Or you can stay in bed and eat stuffed French toast too, I won’t judge (that’s what I actually did this morning) . Truth be told you can do it all; you know that already Dad! So cheers to you! A root beer cheer because we gotta stay level headed out there. Don’t get it twisted now. Let the bottle opener do that for you šŸ˜‰

Ok time to find a fence to stand in front of

Home renovation: the iron worker edition.
Fabricate and erect steel columns for my own house? I got that. I used to do this for a living! I forgot how much fun(and equally stressful) it is to work with some real steel. And I have got to say, as a former iron worker (local non-Union), being able to fabricate and erect columns at my own house feels like I’m truly living the dream. It’s been a great experience. It’s had everything I could have ever possibly missed from hanging steel on a job site. Plans in need of revisions, everything. It really felt like a part of my brain woke up again. And hell, looks good from my house!

The ASMR edition (no music). Because sometimes we all need to tune out the excess noise in our heads and focus on the immediate sounds of life around us. Attune to what is. Let the sounds be as Heidegger describes the hammer, one does not focus on the hammer, one focuses on the workpiece and strikes with the hammer as though it is an extension of their physical being : Dasein .
And because I can’t monetize the video when Audioslave is showing me how to live in the background šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø. So here in all its original glory as our minds were intended to process sound… I present to you another video of a railroad spike being forged into something arguably more useful. Thank you for your time . Scroll two back for the Audioslave version as well šŸ¤˜šŸ»

Valar Morghulis. Valar Dohaeris. 🫔

In all honesty after looking further into this phrase and rewatching the clips it was used in, I felt compelled to include a bit more than the usual ā€œthanks for the support! I appreciate your order!ā€ written on the inside of the packaging. I do appreciate all the orders I get. It’s when I look further into the custom requests that sometimes they can land pretty heavy in the depths of the moment. Anyways; heres a lesser frequented version as well : Valar Jorrāelias : All Men Must Love/ Live.

Hope everyone is doing alright out there! Stay safe I love you all.
