What a night. ❤️
We want to take a moment to celebrate ALL THREE of our Youth Battle of the Bands finalists. There is an immense amount of talent among these young musicians, and every single one of them came back stronger, more confident, and more polished than they were in the preliminary rounds. They didn’t just step it up—they took their performances to a whole other level, and we could not be more proud of what they brought to that stage.
A huge congratulations to the talented young musicians who will be taking the stage at this year’s Redding Roots Revival! We can’t wait to see them up there representing the incredible young talent in our community.
But this was never meant to be just about one performance or one night. One of our biggest goals in creating this event was to open doors for young musicians in our community—to give them a real stage, connection and community, a great audience, and opportunities to keep playing and growing. We absolutely plan to stay connected with all of our finalists and continue looking for ways to create future performance opportunities for these talented young musicians.
And Redding… YOU SHOWED UP. 🙌
The turnout Saturday night was incredible. Seeing that many people come out specifically to support young local musicians was everything we hoped this event could be.
We wanted to give these kids a stage and a big, enthusiastic, appreciative audience.
You gave them that—and then some.
Thank you to everyone who came, cheered, clapped, voted, encouraged these musicians and helped make the very first Youth Battle of the Bands something truly special.
This was year one. We hope to continue to be able to offer opportunities to our local youth. ✨
