Meet the crew of Grave Mistakes!

Sherry Unmack-Haines is our costume mistress and our understudy for the female roles.

Sherry wants her funeral tune will be Me Too by Meghan Trainor with funeral attire being a formal gown, red sequins, heels, and a crown and a headstone which reads, “I told you I was unforgettable!” Until then she wouldn’t mind being haunted Lucille Ball.

Meet the cast of Grave Mistakes!

Please welcome to the stage in her first Riverfront Playhouse production, the very talented Michelle Brown! Michelle plays Eloise, the OG (original ghost) of the house, who prefers keeping quietly to herself in the attic where she can read her magazines and observe the living, but that’s near impossible when your new haunt-mate won’t stop shut up or ascend!

For her funeral, Michelle wants “Another One Bites the Dust” by Queen to be played by a legion of bagpipes to honor her Scottish heritage.

Colin Peacock plays Bob Goodman, newly deceased, recently rooted in an attic he can’t leave, with a burning desire to get a message out to his son, however his new haunt-mate doesn’t have the patience for all that nonsense or his incessant sniffing.

Meet the cast of Grave Mistakes!

Erinn Brennan plays Molly, a popular book author experiencing writers block, until she begins to draw inspiration seemingly out of nowhere for a story involving two characters that are so familiar and real it’s as if they were in the room with her! Ridiculous!

For Erinn’s funeral, her preferred song is Dog Days are Over by Florence +
The Machine with the funeral theme “90s Throwback” where everyone should dress accordingly and her outfit will be a surprise (muhahahaha). Until then she wouldn’t mind being haunted by Mr. Rogers and Maeve Binchy.

Meet Ray, a book editor who's head-over- heals for his co-worker and author Molly. But as they struggle to meet a book deadline, chaos ensues when a bizarre landlord and ghosts hunter burst in with plans to transform their cozy works space (which may actually be haunted) into a paranormal tourist attraction. Will love and terror collide in a hilarious explosion?

Sean Sampson returns to the stage as Ray, a love-struck book editor and hopeful future homeowner. However, it’s not the ghosts that spook him, it’s the living that stand between him and losing everything he’s dreamt of.

Fitting for Sean, his funeral song pick is Dead Man’s Party by Oingo Boingo with a headstone quoting William Shakespeare’s As You Like It monologue, “The whole world’s a stage”.

Forrest Spade plays Guy, a paranormal investigator who can tell that more than just a haunting is going on!

He would like be haunted by Mark Twain, as he had sharp observations regarding his own time, but would be totally clueless about the modern world. What would his opinion of current events and technologies be? Would he see through A.I. videos? Would he catch up on all the great literature he's missed, or spend all day on social media? He’ll have to ask in the next life!
