JD Seem has been on our minds. We are so grateful for his friendship as well as his musical and civic leadership. We will hold on to fond memories of JD’s Jam at The Granite and watching him perform with Faster Things. The Granite's thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our inaugural Planet Granite Music & Dance Festival! We loved having you here with us as we enjoyed live music, learned new dance steps, sharpened our chops in workshops, tasted some of the best food and drink Georgetown has to offer, and shared creative joy with the children of our community.

Saturday offered a picture-perfect day with lots of festivities outside in the sunshine. Sunday was another story, but thanks to our fantastic team, we were able to roll with the punches and host everyone inside. The rain didn't dampen our clothes, let alone our spirits! We ended the evening happily, dreaming of doing it all over again next year.

Please enjoy some great photos from our festival photographers Lori Hillsberg, Megan Napoletano, and Emily Prizio. If you have any feedback for us, visit https://secure.thegranitechurch.org/forms/planet-granite-survey
