“Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?”

Welcome to your weekly Thursday update.

We got both of our new music rhythm games online and fully functioning! For our music game players, these are fully Konami e-amusement functional and will save your progress if you have an e-amusement account. We also did a whole bunch of little adjustment/fixes/tweaks to machines. UMK3 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 had work done on their monitors to help with them being dim. Now the problem is CRT tubes is they are old and starting to die from years of service. While the circuit boards can be fixed over and over, the tubes themselves can die. We try to get as much out of our tubes before swapping them due to tubes becoming harder and harder to find.

In case you didn’t see our updated story last week, we tapped 4 new beers: Blue Moon, Golden Imperial Ale, Taco Truck, and another exclusive from SeaQuake Brewing just tapped their milk stout!

Food for this week is as follows:

We are BACK!

We are open regular hours this week. Thank you to everyone for their patience with us being closed last week.

We added a couple new games to the floor, but are still working out the bugs on them so they won’t be on quite yet. We still wanted to share them as we are excited for them! Nostalgia OP.3 and Sound Voltex Exceed Gear! These were picked up last weekend while we were down at the pinball festival. No new pinball machines followed us home, but we were tempted by many of them. Also, if you haven’t gotten down here and played Deathball or Galactic Battleground, you are truly missing out!

Food for this week is:

Dogwagon Hotdogs is here Thursday and he has a special deal going on! A 4 pack of his classic dog for only $20.

Bobalicious Tea Bar will be here for Friday.

Tattooed Tastebuds will be here Saturday.

And Dogwagon is back on Sunday to round out the weekend.

Little bit of an update this week for your Thursday.

We want to start this post by letting everyone know that we will closed May 14th-18th. The boys of Bonus Round will be headed down to the Golden State Pinball Festival. If you are feeling like you want to spend the weekend playing 250+ pinball machines, then come join us!

Games: Nothing new added this week. Just fixes to stuff already on the floor. However, we did get Terminator 2 fixed! This one has been a pain in the butt, and I can’t guarantee it won’t break again soon. So you better get down here and play it while it’s working! We also fixed the force feedback/motion on the left side of Tank Tank Tank.

Drinks: Everybody loved the pickle beer we brought in so we went ahead and brought in the spicy version of it! If you like micheladas, you should definitely give this a try!

Food: Thursday, we have Dog Wagon Hot Dogs. Friday, we have MobileMunchies530 . Saturday, we have The Sum Of All Smoke Food Truck LLC.

“I feel the need….. The need for speed!”

We are coming in hot this week! If you’re a regular, you will notice it looks a little different in here. We moved some stuff around and created another section of games! There are now 96 cabs on the floor. Our goal from the beginning was to try and get to 100. Let’s see if our Tetris skills will let us squeeze 4 more in.

Games: We brought in 5 new machines, 4 of which were made by small indie arcade companies.

Galactic Battleground is a retro themed 2v2 space combat that plays like a PvP version of Galaga.

Switch N Shoot is a single button fast paced space shooter that plays a lot like a simple phone game. This game is extremely addictive with that “I got to try one more time” quality to it.

Deathball is fast-paced, competitive, with a focus on quick strategy. The goal is for players to get the DeathBall into the opponent’s goal. Think a new version of Pong, but instead of a paddle, you are a little wizard that can fly all over the screen. This game is still having updates and things added to it. Right now it requires two players and does not have a single player option. However, one is coming soon.

Skycurser is a bullet hell shmup (shoot 'em up) that is guaranteed to make you question why is it so hard?!

Tank Tank Tank made by Namco is a co-op or 1v1 sit down driver where you hunt for you enemies through mazes, pick up power ups along the way. This one is only here for a short period of time while it gets cleaned up and dialed in, before we take it out to one of the local businesses we service.

Drinks: We have a few new drink options as well. We brought in a few options from Lagunitas Brewing Co: Little Sumpin Sumpin on tap now along with Lagunitas IPA in cans. Not looking for beer? We also brought in their Uncensored hard tropical punch and their Hoppy Refresher is also a sparkling water option in 4 different flavors.

We also got a keg from our new local nano brewery, Fresh Beer Co. They have a new pale ale. Once something else on the tower runs out, we will tap this and put it on!

Friday, The Sum Of All Smoke Food Truck LLC is making their debut with us.

Saturday MobileMunchies530 will be here.

Rounding out the weekend on Sunday is Dogwagon Hotdogs.
