🚨 Warming Houses Closed Due to Frigid Temperatures 🚨
Due to dangerously cold conditions, the warming houses at both the Athletic Field Outdoor Ice Rinks (ATH) and the Carol Ann Pirius South Park Outdoor Ice Rink (CAP) will be closed Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23.

Please stay safe and warm. Updates will be shared as conditions improve.

Great news — our outdoor skating rinks are open and ready for skating fun!

🔥 Warming House Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 4:00–8:00 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 1:00–8:00 pm
• Non-school days: 1:00–8:00 pm
(January 19, February 13 & February 16)

⚠️ Schedule is subject to change due to weather and/or ice conditions. Please check back for updates.

Due to poor ice conditions, the ice rinks at the ATH are closed effective immediately and will remain closed until further notice.

⛸️ Carol Ann Pirius Rink will be open with warming house hours of 1pm-8pm.

⛸️❄️ Rinks Update for Today! ❄️⛸️

The rinks are open and ready for skating today, Saturday, December 20th!

🔥 The ATH warming house is officially open starting today at 1 PM!
🏠 The Carol Ann Pirius South Park Rink warming house will open tomorrow, Sunday, December 21st.

We’ll be posting the warming house schedule for the upcoming week tomorrow, so be sure to stay tuned! Bundle up and enjoy the ice! ❄️😊

⛸️ Athletic Field Rink Update ⛸️

We kindly ask everyone to please stay off the ice at the Athletic Field rinks for now as we continue building and leveling the ice in preparation for opening.

While we know many are eager to get skating, the ice needs time to properly build up. Allowing the ice to fully set will help ensure better skating conditions and a longer-lasting rink for the season.

The good news—both rinks are on track to be ready very soon! Be sure to follow the Red Wing Rinks page for the latest updates.
