So I have some super exciting news!!

I have my own personal studio in Red Wing now!
I'm proud to say that I worked very hard these past couple weeks to make this a reality for myself. I couldn't have accomplished this feat without the support of my partner, Brayden Hetrick and my mom, Jamie Yarrington. My mom with her superpowers in business, having run several herself, made it possible for me to start my own with the very best people in and out of Red Wing.

Another big shout out to Leah Gilbertson for having established a brand new spot in town with, surprisingly, a room to spare! I'm very excited to work with the talented women running their own businesses out of Suite 44. My books are opening up again April 8th, so feel free to send me a direct message to get added to the schedule this month! Should be more info and posts coming out about that soon!

St Louis was a great time!! I did 10 tattoos!! I'm always fortunate that I get walk ups that fill up my weekend and get to meet all the wonderful st louis natives. I was also very lucky to get to bring along my biggest fan, aka Brayden. This was his first time coming with me, and I think he might've worked harder than me! Having my partner there with me made a world of difference for my anxiety and I'll probably be begging him to come with me to all my other shows. Thanks for all the love and support. 😁

Getting excited for the St. Louis Tattoo convention this weekend!! As always I am taking walk ins all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. First come, first serve. I'm super excited for this convention, the goal is to participate in some competitions. Hopefully, the fresh 8×8 for my new blue heron design. isn't this just the cutest tattoo ever?!

While starting this tattoo my client came in with this tiger reference from
Whenever I'm doing custom tattoos I always make sure to let my clients know that I don't trace or reuse other peoples artwork. And while my clients are always super understanding of that, sometimes this poses a problem when they don't want the design changed. To fix this problem I always end up doing something like this. I redrew the design myself and in doing so, ended up changing many things, however I did not change the subject or water enough in this piece to say this is fully my design. So while I do except these customs I do want to make sure the original artwork and artist are on display as well.

I do always encourage people to go to the original artist as another option. In this instance, with the original artist working out of Seoul, South Korea and both me and my client based in Red Wing, MN the decision was rather easy.

Can you spot the cover-up? I bet you can't!

This was such a fun project!! 2025 really was the year of dragonflies. I'm officially starting my third year as a tattoo artist and I'm very proud of this piece. Its not everyday you can cover up something perfectly, especially with color.

Perfect tattoo for parents!

My client had sent me this photo of their daughter's art piece to see if I could recreate it in tattoo form. I was very excited about this, because I've seen crayon style tattoos before but hadn't gotten a chance to try it out for myself. The premise was to keep the umbrella (and rain drops) colored and the rest greyscale. How do you guys think I did?
