A little more personal than most shop projects.

Remus’ urn includes both his portrait and his nose print, laser engraved directly into the wood — alongside the one we made for Deuce before him.

One of the things we appreciate most about laser engraving is the amount of detail it can capture from something as simple as a photograph or a print.

Two good dogs. Two pieces made just for them.

Some things are worth getting exactly right.

Remus left us with one last shop project- his nose print.

Happy National Dog Day to Finn and to all the really good dogs who came before him. 🐾

The ones who grew up alongside us.
The ones who kept us company while we worked.
The ones who left paw prints, nose prints and a whole lot of memories behind.

Here’s to the dogs we get to love today, and the ones we’ll always love. ❤️

Turns out getting back to work also means remembering to document some of it…

Back at the bench, projects are moving again, and apparently the cameras have made their way back into the shop too.

Making things. Filming things. Occasionally remembering to film the things we’re making.

The shop door is open again.

We want to thank everyone who reached out, left a comment or shared a kind word about Remus. He was the very best shop foreman, and knowing how many of you loved seeing him around here meant more than we can say.

It’s been a little quieter without him.

But we’re getting back in the shop, getting our hands dusty and working on a few things we’re looking forward to sharing with you.

One project at a time. 🐾
