What a year! I’m excited to announce that I am headed to my 2nd NFBR❤️
This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of my family, friends, and sponsors that continue to believe in me and make it possible to keep chasing these dreams!!

A special thanks to Karri and Cody Jones for entering me all year long and allowing me to swing a leg over there amazing horse Flo. It means more than you know.

And my husband Dan and our little boy Landon, who have been by my side through all of it and continued to push me to always do my best. Dan williams jr

I’m so grateful for everyone who has been apart of the ride.

I’ve always been a big fan of Unbeetable Complete Feed, so I was excited to get to try their new Senior Feed before it officially hits the market in December! My husband has an older steer tripping horse who’s always been a picky eater and hard to keep weight on, and we’ve been so happy with the results. He has loved it, and it’s been great to see him fill out and finally look like himself again!

Keep an eye out for Unbeetable Senior Feed coming this December.

We’re always grateful to have Unbeetable Feeds in our horses’ buckets💛

Alumni Shout Out:
Winnemucca native and graduate of Albert M. Lowry High School, Suzanne (Montero) Williams has qualified for her second WPRA Breakaway Roping National Finals Rodeo. Suzanne ended the regular rodeo season 13th with $107,615 in total earnings.

Suzanne is a third-generation rancher, and was raised on her family’s ranch, Leonard Creek Ranch, 90 miles north of town. She attended Lowry while competing in high school rodeos across the state, laying a foundation for a career that would take her to some of the biggest stages in professional rodeo.

After graduating, Suzanne attended the University of Las Vegas, where she claimed two National Girls Team titles and two individual National Titles in Goat Tying and two individual titles in the Girls All-Around. Today, she serves as the Women’s Head Rodeo Coach at Lassen Community College in Susanville, California.

Suzanne competed in 80 rodeos across the country this year, and she will make the trip to Fort Worth, Texas, with her main horse Ducker, an American Quarter Horse that she raised and trained herself.

Her return to the NFR is a huge accomplishment, and one her hometown is proud to celebrate. We are excited to cheer Suzanne on in the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth on December 18-19.

Taking the good with the bad is a part of life and a big part of this incredible job I get to have! A broken barrier cost me in Pasadena, but my horse felt great and gave me every chance to win - and you can’t ask for more than that!

Ducker stays on Horse Guard Flow and Trifecta year round. All of my horses have shown a big difference in their mobility, feet and overall shine after using these products - they are a staple in my barn!

The sport of breakaway roping has grown immensely in the last few years. It’s a knife fight everyday against these girls out here! Not making it to Sioux Falls wasn’t ideal, but I kept my head down and made the runs I knew I needed to.

2.7 in Tyler, TX to get a piece of it and keep the ball rolling last week💪🏼

My King's Saddlery & King Ropes felt outstanding all year long and I wouldn’t want anything else in my hand finishing out this season!

The 2026 NFBR field is *unofficially* set. 👀⁣

According to our math, these are the top 15 heading to Fort Worth this December.
Keep up with it all on our world standings job on breakawayropingjournal.com thanks to Top Hand Ropes

The last week has been a whirlwind and as the numbers stand right now I’m proud to say I’ve secured my second NFBR back number in the #13 position again!

I was a 2.1 in Stephenville on this run to split 2/3/4 for a nice check to help me secure my spot in the top 15💪🏼

I can’t say a big enough thank you to Unbeetable Feeds for keeping Ducker powered up and performing his best even after traveling from the west coast to the Dakotas, all the way down to Texas and back across to California in the span of a few days! Best feed on the market. 🫜🐴

It’s national Day of the Cowgirl and time for a rodeo road update! It’s the final count down and there’s a lot of rodeos still left on my book and it’s going to take planes, trains and automobiles to get me all over the country the next two weeks!

Made some good runs in Ellensburg to place in a round and end up 6th in the average. No money in Lewiston but my horse felt great and that’s all I can ask for! Pendleton this week then on to Utah and the Dakotas to seal this thing up 💪🏼🛣️

Thank you to my sponsors for all their support!
