Two River Theater produces a theatrical season that includes American and world classics, new plays and musicals, programs for young people, and festivals of new work. Each year, we also offer 40+ events that reflect our diverse community of Red Bank, New Jersey. tly opened Center for New Work, Education and Design is a three-story facility that includes two rehearsal studios, artist labs, classrooms, expanded shops and centrally located offices. Two River Theater has commissioned and premiered original projects including Be More Chill by Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis and Joe Tracz (the theater’s first Broadway production) and Hurricane Diane by Playwright-in-Residence Madeleine George (which won an Obie Award for its Off-Broadway run). In June 2019, Two River was nationally recognized by USA TODAY as one of “10 great places to see a play” across the U.S. Two River serves thousands of students and community members through arts and humanities programs at the theater, in schools and throughout its region. Two River Theater is led by Artistic Director Justin Waldman and Managing Director Nora DeVeau-Rosen.

Two River Theater is excited to announce that George Salazar and Jason SweetTooth Williams will reunite with Tony Award®-nominated songwriter Joe Iconis for Tiny Room Concerts w/ Joe Iconis, an intimate concert series taking place July 23–25 in the Victoria J. Mastrobuono Library at Two River Theater. They will be joined by acclaimed performer Badia Farha

With the 7:00 PM performances already sold out, audiences are encouraged to purchase seats soon for the remaining performances. Tiny Room Concerts is presented in a 34-seat venue creating an exceptionally intimate concert experience unlike anything else at Two River.

We’re excited to announce that George Salazar and Jason SweetTooth Williams, the stars of Be More Chill at both Two River Theater and on Broadway—will reunite with Joe Iconis for Tiny Room Concerts. They’ll be joined by the phenomenal Badia Farha for an unforgettable series of intimate performances.

Set in the Victoria J. Mastrobuono Library, Tiny Room Concerts is an acoustic concert experience unlike anything else. Joined by three musicians, Joe and his special guests will perform beloved favorites, deep cuts, brand-new material, and spontaneous stories in a room with just a handful of fellow fans.

With only 75 seats still available, the opportunity to experience these artists up close is disappearing quickly. The best availability is currently at the 2:00 PM and 9:30 PM performances.

Two River Theater is pleased to announce Tiny Room Concerts w/ Joe Iconis, a concert series offering audiences an up-close and personal experience with one of musical theater’s most celebrated songwriters.

Joe Iconis (Tony Award®, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle nominee) is a longtime favorite of Two River audiences. His breakout musical Be More Chill launched at Two River before taking Broadway and international stages by storm. Now after the World Premiere of his Love in Hate Nation and three sold-out 10th Anniversary concerts of Be More Chill in 2025, audiences will have the rare opportunity to experience his music in Two River’s Victoria J. Mastrobuono Library, an intimate 34-seat setting newly activated for performances and experiences on the theater’s campus.

At these performances, Iconis will be joined by three musicians for an acoustic evening featuring beloved songs, deep cuts, brand-new material, and spontaneous stories from a career spent creating unforgettable theatrical experiences.
