I don’t often go to garage sales but something drew me to one in my neighborhood where I found these antique books for children. I’ve been in a little creative rut lately and the illustrations in these books helped me out of it. After checking the value of the books, which was only $15-$50 depending on the condition, I decided to use them in collage. The first photo is of the books and the second photo is my first in what I hope will become a series of mixed media collage featuring these lovely old illustrations.
