We are a vibrant, non-profit art studio and gallery, where artists of all abilities create, exhibit, and sell their work. Iggy, Izzy, Lizzie, Reggie, Liz, Gizzard - this here lizard painted by Suzie Cappa Art Center artist Jeff McGlade has been given many a name and until that is settled, we will all enjoy the beauty of the Lizard of Many Names 🤩

Jeff utilized some longer and more free than usual brush strokes in this piece to give the lizard some very interesting movement and flow throughout! 🦎

Throwback Thursday to these incredible one of one totes that the Suzie Cappa Art Center artists worked on for a collaboration with our friends at Breadroot Natural Foods Co-op 🫐🍐🍋🍑🍓🍌🍅🫜🍆🍊

The artists completed 50 (yes, FIFTY) of these totes earlier this year and to be sold at Breadroot! 🙌🏼

We wish we could say there are still some available, but alas, these bad boys sold out quickly! ⚡️

In case you weren’t sure what this here masterpiece features, we wanted to include Racheal’s disclaimer 😂

If you’ve met Racheal, you can imagine the joy and excitement that goes into each of her pieces, especially one as substantial as this! Measuring around 4 feet tall, this is one of the larger pieces Racheal has worked on and maybe we’re biased, but we think she did an incredible job! 🤩

Please, enjoy some perfectly pink peonies that will never fade with the seasons! 💕

In an effort to step a bit out of his comfort zone, Suzie Cappa Art Center artist Jeff McGlade painted this lovely still life of some peonies in a vase - we think it’s safe to say the effort was successful! 😍

Jeff used his signature style of making small stroke marks throughout while also adding in a wide variety of other lengths and widths of stroke marks resulting in this piece that can’t help but bring some light and charm to any space! ✨

Don’t play koi with us 🤭

This piece done by Suzie Cappa Art Center artist Devon Holsworth is nothing short of eye catching - the colors, the texture, the movement of our fishy friend are all so striking! 💥

Devon has made great growth in his comfort with and understanding of color over the past couple of years and it is always wonderful to see how he applies these learnings 🎨🖌️

He is currently on a caran d’ache kick, but his occasional branching out back into acrylic (such as this) is always a welcome change for the day! 🐠
