Action Archery of the Black Hills is here to provide an alternative action-packed game. It takes the team competition from dodge ball, included with the shooting aspect of paintball, and creates the perfect combination of archery fun. Whether you are a beginner archer, or advanced, Action Archery of the Black Hills LLC allows you to take your skills to the next level. A unique experience is provid
ed with six different variations of the game.
1. Tag is the most common and easiest to play. Dodge ball rules apply, you're just using bow and arrows instead of dodge balls.
2. Capture the flag requires teams to get 3 of 5 flags from the safety zone to their side before the other team can.
3. VIP requires teams to pick one VIP. Every time he/she gets hit, the other team scores a point.
4. Death Match is everyone for themselves. Last man standing wins.
5. Medic takes Death Match to a different level. Teams pick one medic who can bring people back to life.
6. Bomb is played with each team having one "bomb" that they have to advance to the other teams base before they can be stopped. We are here to give people the opportunity to have fun with each other in a safe, controlled environment. Every participant is required to wear a safety mask and goggles, because no one likes to get hit in the face. The arrows used are provided by Bear Archery Bows, which is one of the archery industries gold standard manufacturers. Arrowheads are made from high density foam equipped with a secondary fl**ge that is an extra buffer to ensure the arrow shaft will not pierce through the foam arrowhead. Action Archery bunkers are also provided for participants to take cover from their opponents. While many people like paintball, it can hurt. The heavy gear used in paintball can be hot and uncomfortable. Participants don't always listen to the rules and sometimes sneak in a shot right after gear is taken off and you are more vulnerable. People can be left with welts and paint everywhere. However, with the equipment used by Action Archery of the Black Hills LLC, you get all the fun of paintball with a much more comfortable, and clean, attire. The only gear needed is the face mask and goggles provided.
