Myzfit Arts Hey there! I'm a self taught artist and photographer; learning as I go with the flow. Art for me is therapy - it's a way to connect and release.

I call my art MYZFIT because it doesn't fit any one niche. It's simply ART through EXPRESSION. Hugh Baxley is a self taught artist residing in Rapid City, SD. He works in an array of mixed medias from acrylics, oils, pastels, pencil, charcoal and photography. Some of his favorite artists are Renaissance artists like Da Vinci and Michaelangelo, Rembrandt and Caravaggio to artists such as Dali, Pica

sso, Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, Gentileschi, Rosa Bonheur, Cassat, and Georgia O'Keeffe. He's been a feature of an editorial in the North Texas Herald Democrat's entertainment section as well as in the magazine Voyage Dallas. Currently he is part of an exhibit in Sherman, TX featuring prominent black leaders of the community. Hugh loves to create art through expression. He leaves nothing behind when the brush meets canvas and is not shy when it comes to color and challenging your eyes and mind.
