This week at Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe...

We're celebrating our 2-year birthday and Halloween! 🎃🎈

Start the week by dancing with Lizz on Wednesday during 10am open play.

Join us on Saturday for cupcakes, a community mural, and lots of Halloween fun at our 2-year birthday/Halloween party! Tickets are sold out, but we'd love to see you drop by even just to say hellooooooo (or boo!) 👻

Right after our party, join Merrick Mama Bakes for Little Baker's Halloween workshop from 1-2pm.

Sunday, we are CLOSED for private events. (yes, this is a change. We are normally open on Sundays for open play. Next week will go back to normal!)

Let's get out of the house, make a friend, and be SO grateful for two wonderful years. 💗

Introducing: Our Village Story Time Series 📚🏠

It takes a village to raise a child. So we thought, why not introduce our little ones to the village raising them?

We're so excited to launch Our Village Story Time Series at Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe! Each week, we'll welcome a different member of our community to share a story, introduce kids to what they do, and help little ones get to know the people who make our community so wonderful and special.

From the people who help keep us safe to the people who create, lead, and bring us together, our goal is to help children build connections, spark curiosity, and see firsthand how wonderful their village can be (...and maybe they'll get to touch a garbage truck along the way).

Our introductory November line-up is here and you won't want to miss it!

📅 November 18: Rotary Club of Charles Town representative, Shaney Fragstein McCoy
📅 November 25: Gabby Wilson, owner of Prismatic Art Studio

And this is just the beginning! We want to continue to introduce our kids to all the incredible people, talents, and resources our community has to offer.

Want to be part of the village? We're looking for local professionals, business owners, community organizations, talented creatives, and fellow parents who would love to share their time, knowledge, or gifts with our little ones.

To help keep our story times safe and supportive for little ones, all prospective participants must complete an in-person vetting process before hosting.

We can't wait to see the connections, conversations, and community that grow from this. Welcome to the new generation's village!

This week at Wild and Wonderful Play Cafe...

Get your dancing shoes out and your biggest smiles on! We're having a party with Lizz this Wednesday and it's all about CONFIDENCE! 😁 This class is free with admission.

Wednesday is also ABC Day and a great opportunity to order our "Second Chances" drink to double support Eastern Panhandle Empowerment Center ! Proceeds from Second Chances AND drinks in crazy containers go directly to them! 💜

We're closed Saturday for private events, and open Sunday from 9am-noon.

Let's play, sip, meet a new friend and be happy this week! ☀

Cute little reminder that we need a day to rest, recharge, restock and repair anything that needs our attention. We’ll be closed Tuesday Oct. 13 to do all of the above. Catch you back here on Wednesday at 10am for Dance Party with Lizz! 🪩🕺

This week at Wild and Wonderful...

We are OPEN on Monday for Columbus Day/Indigenous People's Day. We are nearly sold out for the morning, so please check before coming in to avoid disappointment. (Members welcome anytime).

Lizz is back on Wednesday for a fun, upbeat movement class focusing on rhythm! 💀

We are closed on Saturday for private events. Open on Sunday from 9am-noon for open play. We have been selling out or very close to it almost every Sunday, so please check our website or social media ahead of time. 🫶
