It was an amazing turnout for the launch of the “Addison Rockwell Loomis Foundation “! It was a sold out event and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening. There were two guest speakers from the “Marine Mammal Care Center“ and the “Pacific Marine Mammal Center“. Our foundation is bringing in funding through my father’s unbelievable story and underwater paintings to generate interest in ocean conservation and Marine life rescue and rehabilitation.More pictures and video to come. We have finally made it! The “Addison Rockwell Foundation” will be launched at Terranea September 6th. The art exhibit of my father’s underwater paintings will be on display. It’s been a long journey, but hopefully our work will pay off with many donations going to the local marine life rescue and rehab rehabilitation facilities on the coast .

This is a photo of curlys underwater art exhibit at Marineland of the Pacific around 1969. He did several of these exhibits for the visitors to enjoy as they viewed the exhibit looking through the observation glass that circled every level of the tank itself. These and many other photos and articles were published in the Los Angeles Times and Daily Breeze newspapers as well as other local Media. He also had a article about him in skin diver magazine.

Thinking of my father today. He was an excellent father and grandfather. Known as papa to all of his grandkids his love for his family will last forever.  His heart was as big as his life was. Remembering you today dad and thank you for everything that you gave us! ❤️
