Back installing at the UNC Rex Cancer Center. This beautiful pottery piece in the collection is a work donated by the artist, Lisa Joerling in memory of Bobby Kadis. Her vision and work is incredible. Swipe to see views. We hope this brings a little bit of joy to the families, healthcare workers and patients who are being taken care of at the cancer center.

Many thanks to Marina Bosetti and the Jandy Ammons Foundation!! This is the 3rd floor Terrace at the new UNC Rex Cancer Center, It has already become a favorite place for people to find respite. We imagined Marina Bosetti’s Beautiful tile work on this terrace when we looked at the blueprints. She more than made it a an incredibly, vibrant, place of beauty with her amazing tile work! The Jandy Ammons Foundation made this art installation possible, many thanks for all you do for our community! ❤️

“I am Light, and I am Strong” a four panel weaving by fiber artist, Mary Kircher created for the lobby of the new UNC Rex Cancer Center. Thank you to the donors who made this work of art a possibility, and for understanding the comforting experience art brings to those receiving and administrating treatment in a healthcare setting.

Artist Christopher Holt finishing up his mural, “Kaleidoscope” for the new UNC Rex Cancer Center. A Kaleidoscopic of love, caring and support will meet those having to receive and give treatment at the Cancer Center. Christopher’s mural is the first of many works of art that will grace the center, due to the generosity of many donors who understand the importance of art and healing.
