Instructions for return of artwork:

Please EMAIL versus calling. We are already receiving many calls and it will be easier to keep track of everything if it is all in one place. If you need artwork returned to you please do the following:

1. Email [email protected] (or [email protected])
2. Use subject line - RETURN OF ARTWORK
3. Include your name, address, and phone number
4. List the artworks that need to be returned
5. Attach any loan agreements forms if you have it
6. Attach any pictures of the artwork if you have it
7. Mention if you can pickup or if you need artwork delivered to you
8. If you are picking up artwork, please include a date and time-frame you will be coming

Please tag anyone you believe owns artwork at the gallery or forward these instructions.

We appreciate your patience as we organize the return of works to their rightful owners.

Edith London was born in Berlin, Germany, and lived in Durham, NC from 1939 until her death in 1997. She studied art with painter Marcel Gromaire and at the Academie Andre Lhote in Paris. She was a member of the Duke Art Department from 1955 until 1969 and returned to teach studio art in 1973.

The next exhibition at the Betty Ray McCain Gallery will be of tapestries by Siliva Heyden. Please join us at the reception Tuesday, October 16 from 5:30-7:30pm. There will be remarks about the work at 6:15pm. The exhibition will run through February 2, 2019.
