“In this class we will study specific bird species and practice drawing and painting flying and perched birds. I will bring lots of bird reference photos to work from.
Students of all levels of painting experience are welcome. Students are welcome to work in watercolors or acrylics. Please bring all supplies you will need, paints , brushes, paper or canvas- and easel if you need one. We have tables to work on. Class size limited to 8. Ages 16 and up. “

Join us starting December 12 for Studio Workshop: Sketchbooking (two-part virtual class). Anna Podris (Anna Podris and Keith Norval's Paintings) creates vivid paintings inspired by dreams, from the world around her, and from active play in her sketchbooks. Join her as she guides participants through the process of using a sketchbook and journal for capturing ideas and keeping them flowing. The first class is dedicated to sketchbook techniques, inspiration, and idea generation. The second class considers how to apply that creativity and free thinking to starting a painting. Please come to my upcoming mixed media workshop- It’s Sunday March 29 from 1-4 at my new space- City Market Artist Collective. It’s quite an open and large classroom- still to make sure I have enough materials in limiting the class size to 10. All materials will be provided- I’m not sure if you’ve experienced my collage items collection but it has recently grown even larger and more fabulous! It’s $80 for the class- you need to pay that to reserve your spot. I can do Venmo, PayPal, or any of your preferred payment methods. Let me know!
