Triangle String Orchestra

Triangle String Orchestra TSO is a community orchestra of amateur musicians, founded in 2010 by Marta Findlay-Partridge. Findlay-Partridge.

The Triangle String Orchestra (TSO), formerly the Triangle Community Orchestra (TCO), was founded in the summer of 2010 under the direction of Marta C. It is an ensemble of dedicated amateur musicians, directed by Luanne Roth, who gather weekly at Meredith College during the school year to explore and share their love of string orchestra music. TSO is part of Meredith’s Community School of Music (

CSOM). Each musician brings a unique set of skills to this venture – a number of members learned to play their instrument well into adulthood; others returned to playing after a hiatus of some years; and a few members have enjoyed playing for much of their lives. Scholarships are available, and no one is turned away due to the inability to pay.
