I am a firm believer that God uses seasons in our life to grow our faith and glorify Him more. As I've graduated, started a full-time job, and look into entering a new season of marriage, I am faced with decisions on how best to glorify God in my life. With that said, I have made the difficult (and I can't stress that enough) decision to close Uncapped Calligraphy and Designs. I say that this is not goodbye, but a see ya later because my dream is to re-open our doors one day, if I have the opportunity to stay at home with our future family.
When I look back, I can see how God used this business in the college season of my life. As I look ahead, I know He has great plans for me and I've had to evaluate where Uncapped Calligraphy fits in His plan. I've had to reevaluate my time and overall priorities in life. In this new season of life, I prioritize investing more time in building a work-life balance and especially in building a marriage. I would rather glorify God and serve others well by doing my work and marriage well, then not glorify Him by "doing it all" and serving haphazardly.
With all of that said, your support over the past three years has meant the world to me. With every like, comment, encouraging word, and order, I have felt nothing but love and support in this business and I can't thank you enough for pouring into me through this business. I am encouraged as I look back at all the opportunities that God gave Uncapped Calligraphy and me to serve those in the community around us. In our time, we have served over 400 customers, gained over 2000 new friends on social media, worked with five retail friends around NC, left our mark in 24/50 states, created over 30 products.
This is just a snapshot of the impact that Uncapped Calligraphy has made in our local community, but we couldn't have done it without you and your constant support. All in all, to God be the glory for the talent and passion He put in me to start this business, for the success He has created it to be, and for the many lessons that I have learned that increased my faith in Him along the way.
