Dear Friends of The Blake Streets Shops and Studios,

Sadly, the Blake Street Shops and Studios permanently closed our doors the first of Jan. 2015 due to mandate of the landlord to do something different with our spaces. Consequently, we have all relocated. Jen Hales of Patina Collaborative, Lea Alston of Scentuosity, and I, Victoria Powers Studio Ten, were the three remaining tenants who were there from the beginning in 2010. Please check out our individual websites for our new locations and upcoming events and exhibitions! I have several exhibitions coming up in 2015. Garner Performing Arts Center for March and April, of my early handmade paper works; The Loft Gallery at the Roundabout Collective for April-June, of my recent Foil Relief Etchings; Studio One at the Carter building in Oct., showcasing my watercolors and weavings; and a show at HagarSmith Designs in Nov.-Dec.; of recent oils on canvas! Please check out my website for details and come out and see my work! I will miss hosting my monthly first Friday receptions in my private studio at Blake Street, but do not dismay, you will find me hosting them elsewhere during 2015!

My best to each of you!
