COMING SOON! 🥳
Our 3rd annual Scrap Bash is officially on the way, and we couldn’t be more excited. 🎊
If you’re new to Scrap Bash, here’s the idea: over 7 relaxing weeks, we’ll help you turn the fabric scraps you already have into a beautiful quilt top. We’ll walk through tips for organizing scraps, choosing colors, designing your quilt with various block patterns, cutting, sewing, and bringing it all together one step at a time. 👏
Registration opens June 11th, so tap the calendar on this post to set a reminder and start gathering your scraps. We can’t wait to sew with you! 🤗
While we’re putting the finishing touches on everything, we’d love to know: What part of sewing with scraps feels most exciting to you, and what part feels the most overwhelming? Comment & let us know!

Tell me what you think! 👇

This is the “Patchwork” version of the Pansy Patch quilt pattern... and I almost omitted this color-way entirely because it felt like an outlier. But I kept coming back to it because it gave such a different look than anything else I’d designed, and lo and behold, I fell in love. 🌷

I wanted this one to feel like true spring which called for pinks + greens. I made sure to include a wide range of values, so deep greens and rich corals sit right next to the soft ones. It adds a little bit of sparkle and movement, which I love. 🥹
Want the full fabric list and details? It’s all on the blog. And if you want everything pulled and ready to go, kits are available too. Here’s the link: https://www.loandbeholdstitchery.com/blogs/lo-and-behold/pansy-patch-quilt-pattern-the-sprout-version ✨🌷

Happy birthday to the !🎂 I initially designed this pattern as a nod to the joy of traveling and taking “getaway” trips. With summer right around the corner, what getaways or staycations do you have planned? 🧳 Or what’s a favorite one that you’ve taken in the past? This is probably one of my favorites: Seward, Alaska. 🥹 ⛰️
Pattern is “Getaway” and it has 5 sizes, 3 layouts, block-based construction and can be found in the shop. Link in bio!

Isn’t it magical how the sun is hitting this Knitted Blooms quilt top by ?! 🌅🤩 And it has such a sweet story: Jen says she was going for a Scooby-Doo 70’s inspired color scheme and overall feel, and I’d say she totally nailed it! 🌼

a floral quilt pattern in rich, moody, dark background… not what you might expect, but exactly what Pansy Patch needed. 🌸
Choosing a cover quilt is one of the hardest parts of releasing a new pattern (yet also one of my favorites!). It has to represent everything the pattern is about. For Pansy Patch, I went back and forth between light and springy vs. dark and textured…and dark won. 🥹
The result is this warm, nostalgic quilt built on AGF Velvet: a rich reddish-brownish-purplish fabric I had never used before but always adored. Paired with five close-value pinks and one very happy accidental fabric discovery, this ended up being one of my all-time favorite color pulls. I share all the details (including that happy accident!) over on the blog. 🌷
The Pansy Patch pattern is available now in 9 sizes and 3 colorways, and kits for this exact version are in the shop! 🌿
