Ready to write a brand new play DRAWING mystical inspo from weekly card pulls?

Spooky! Mystical! Divine!

Let the cards be your guide on a fun playwriting journey!

Playwright & dramaturg Fly Jamerson will lead this 8-week workshop where participants will meet weekly to develop their new plays.

Each week, a Tarot card will be pulled to provide inspiration for the process. With support, encouragement, and feedbacking along the way, each playwright will have the opportunity to present a public reading of their work on the final week!

This group meets weekly on Friday from 10:00-11:30 pm EDT on Zoom. (for the spookiest vibes!)

Dates: 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31, 6/7, & 6/14

During the 7th week, some of the WTF community's favorite professional playwrights and dramaturgs will provide feedback to help playwrights shape their work! The final session will be a public Zoom playreading!

Ways to participate: Attend the live Zoom workshop sessions on Friday evenings from April 26-June 14 from 10:00-11:30 pm EDT. The final session on June 14 will be a public playreading on Zoom. *Participants may elect to participate asynchronously for up to 2 sessions but MUST be present at the final two sessions to participate.

Designed for directors and producers (particularly early-stage folks), this workshop will take participants through the key duties of directors and producers AND how to collaborate across these roles to set your show up for success.

Whether you're already in the directing/producing world or you're curious to learn how this side of the production process comes together, all are welcome. No prior experience is required.
