Life Is Art Studios is closing its doors! We are as surprised as you are to say we are calling it quits and moving on to the next phase! It’s been an incredible journey. We have created live experiences, built stages, and merged with the music in ways beyond what even we imagined when we were younger. We are floored when we reflect on everyone that has been a part of this journey over the last 13 years. But there is a season for all things and the time has come to end this chapter of our lives. We do it with heavy hearts for what is ending but also excitement for our futures; collectively and separately.
There is always a thread of continuation; and we invite you to follow it with us! Life Is Art Studios was founded by Soup and Tebo and that collaboration continues yearly with the Casual Campout; a music and arts festival at Lakeside Retreats in Raleigh, NC. Come check it out! The team around us has an amazing event planned for this year.

In addition to that; TeBo will continue to offer production services, stage design, and production management in line with what you’ve previously seen from us; through his new company; Oak City Stagecraft. Soup will continue under the Life Is Art name and still offer live visual art for the concert space. He is currently touring with Rebelution and designing custom visuals for a select group of clients. In addition; Soup will also explore new endeavors to be announced as they are ready; and focus on the evolving non profit Lakeside Retreats an offering to the world.

Life Is Art is starting to mobilize in response to the tragedy still unfolding in WNC. We have a massive amount of friends and colleagues in the area affected and our hearts go out to everyone we know and don’t know. We are working on organizing a benefit concert at Lakeside Retreats and will have more info soon.
Next week Soup is taking a supply run to Asheville and the surrounding area. If you can spare anything please bring supplies to Life Is Art Studios (address at bottom of post); there is a shipping container next to the white cinderblock building that will be open for drop offs at all times and we will accept drop offs directly to the main warehouse whenever we are present.

We are working with locals in the affected area to identify areas of need.
Some of the items that are most requested
* generators
* Gas cans
* Gas
* Water purifiers like life straw
* Tarps
* Diapers
* Formulae
* Non perishable goods
* Batteries
* Chainsaws
* Work gloves, rakes , yard equipment etc.

And anything else that is needed for staying alive! It’s real out there ! If you can spare any of these items or others please bring them to Life Is Art Studios and will coordinate getting them to where they can do some good !!

We are also accepting donations to purchase more supplies. Please send to Soup directly and we will keep documented records of everything we receive and everything we are able to do with it. Thank you all !

It’s Throwback Thursday again, and this time we’re going back to right before the world shut down when was on the Camp Superdope Tour with and in 2020!

Throwback to the time Life Is Art Studios got to create tour content for Chris Rock's Total Blackout Tour. This content toured the world behind Chris, and we were extremely honored when he even came back to us for a second set of content for the Australia leg of the tour. Co-founder Soup Stephen Williamson worked one on one with Chris live DPAC to tweak it to exactly what Chris wanted, dialing in grain, distortion, and collecting effects using VDMX with an Absen Inc video wall.
