MIGHTY GIVEBACK UPDATE 🌧️🎶

Tomorrow’s Mighty Giveback is still ON — rain or shine — but the schedule has shifted earlier to try to stay ahead of heavier showers.

Updated Saturday schedule:

4:30 PM — Gates / VIP open
5:15–6:30 — The 502s outdoors
7:00 — Band Together check presentation
7:15–9:15 — JJ Grey & Mofro outdoors
~9:15 — Boom Unit Brass Band takes the party INSIDE Lincoln Theatre

This one is about more than the music too — proceeds are supporting Raleigh Music Collective, Oak City Cares, and PORCH Communities through Band Together’s 25th anniversary celebration.

A little rain isn’t stopping this one. See y’all at Lincoln Theatre. ❤️🎶

Sylvan Esso is bringing the Good Moon Festival back to Durham - and this year, the party will be spreading out all over town.
Hosted and curated by Durham’s own Sylvan Esso and their record label, Psychic Hotline, Good Moon has taken a few different forms over the years. For 2026, they’re moving out of the ballpark and into downtown, with three nights of headlining shows at DPAC and more music spilling into The Pinhook, Bay 7, BOOM Club, and American To***co Campus.
And the lineup is stacked. Sylvan Esso headlines Thursday and Saturday alongside Meshell Ndegeocello and Silvana Estrada, while Tyler Childers takes over Friday night with poet aja monet. From there, the festival keeps going with late-night shows, DJ sets, experimental music, and a FREE Saturday afternoon show at American To***co Campus featuring MJ Lenderman.
Good Moon feels like more than a festival - it’s an invitation to move through the city and experience its music spaces along the way - which is exactly what Sylvan Esso had in mind.
Come for a headliner you already know and love, stick around for somebody you’ve never heard of, and enjoy the work of some very skilled curators.

This weekend in Downtown Raleigh!

When IBMA moved the World of Bluegrass festival after more than a decade downtown, Raleigh decided the party didn’t have to end. Raleigh Wide Open Music Festival carries that tradition forward with a FREE weekend of bluegrass, Americana, folk, gospel, R&B, and roots music taking over the streets around the State Capitol. Expect stages full of music, dancing, food, art, and plenty of picking - proof that Raleigh’s bluegrass weekend has taken on a life of its own.
