Scientists studying the abandoned site of Chernobyl discovered a unique black fungus, Cladosporium sphaerospermum, that can absorb harmful radiation and convert it into energy through a process known as radiosynthesis. This fungus grows toward radiation and survives in conditions that are deadly to most life forms. Experiments on the International Space Station showed that it continues to grow under cosmic radiation and even provides a natural shielding effect. Researchers believe this organism could one day help clean radioactive environments and improve radiation protection for astronauts in deep space missions.

Xfinigen Press is excited to release “The Boy Who Didn’t Get to Say Goodbye”, which is a children’s book based on a true story.

This book tells the story of a young family who lost someone close to them, and how the young boy was able to process his grief of that loss.

It is written by Paul Baumann and illustrated by 12 year old Sara Halliday.

It was written to bring awareness to the nearly 200,000 accidental Fentanyl overdoses and the effects they have on the people who love them.

Email [email protected] or message us here directly to purchase your own Limited Edition Hardbound copy of "The Boy Who Didn’t Get to Say Goodbye”, available only to the first 100 orders.
