Hello friends in the NC Triad area, I'm hosting a workshop on Saturday! You can really bring any medium to paint or draw; I will be using watercolors. Come spend a beautiful morning with me plein air!

I finally got to visit the Benton Center Summer Exhibit where I have two of my favorite pieces hanging via Associated Artists of Winston-Salem. So grateful for the opportunity! I was an attendee of American Public Works Association's NC Chapter Stormwater conference this week at the Center. A great experience for both of my careers.

If you want to check mine and the others out, they'll be on display there a few more weeks!

Added another layer onto a painting that I started while teaching a paint and sip earlier this summer. Might add another layer tomorrow. Might let it sit on the shelf another 3 months 😝

Check out handsome Louie! Aren't his eyes gorgeous?! The first two slides are his watercolor portrait and third and fourth are pastel pencil. I really enjoyed presenting him in two different poses in different media. Which is your favorite?

Happy 250th to the land that we love🤍💙❤️

I had a lovely time working with this group of ladies to create some patriotic art for their homes. We met at my friend Jenny's house and her wonderful neighbors came over for a fun paint night this past week. They all did such a great job!
