Come visit the Nelson's Christmas light show in Raleigh, N.C. off Capital Blvd. From the street you can see our nativity scene, our 8 foot tall Grinch, Cindy Lou, and max the dog stealing the Christmas decorations. You will also see all kinds of characters as you make your way to the driveway which leads to the pathway. We have all kinds of trees that will dance to the music, my favorite is the 12 foot LED trees, well, I love all the trees in our display. We have a movie section where you can watch short films, classic Christmas movies or watch our singing light bulbs singing classic Christmas songs.
We have a walk through display where you can take your photo with big santa in our sleigh, you can take your photo in our photo booth with singing santa and friends. Make your way through the pathway, stopping at our candyland display where we turned a chicken house into Mr. And Mrs Claus bakery shop, next stop is our ice skating rink, where you'll see the peanuts characters and their friends skating around the 8 ft rink.
On the right side of the pathway, climb in our 8 ft sleigh, and take your family photo, along the way you'll meet mickey in our candyland area, and at the end of the pathway, you will meet minnie, singing our favorite holiday songs. Don't forget to grab a candy cane on your way out. As you are leaving, step on to the driveway into a blizzard of beautiful, white fluffy snow.
Before you leave our driveway, dont forget to take your picture with singing santa. Thank you so much for coming by this holiday season. We are open 6pm to 10pm everyday until Dec. 27th. If it's raining, the lights will be off, so please check our FB for updated information.

Things to remember, we will have snow when we are home, please DON'T touch or climb on the decorations, and please stay on the pathway. No running, because we have to many cords & fragile decorations.
Please don't park in our driveway or in front of our house. Please don't block the incoming and outgoing traffic in the neighborhood, pull to the side and come walk around the pathway to see all the lights and decorations.
