Hey friends 😊 I haven't posted my portraits in a long time. Partly because I didn't like the idea that social media had become about "selling" and not sharing. I've been so busy with word of mouth and have had a wonderful year of painting! So thank you for trusting me to paint your pets and for sharing my work with your favorite people!!!

But I wanted to jump on here to put a little more joy into the world today. Here are a handful of beautiful dogs that I've had the honor of painting over the past year ❤ Please allow your pets to bring you joy today and know that its okay to be where you are today. They love you anyway and I think thats the big secret!

Did you know that cats are commissioned much less often than dogs? And admittedly, I am a cat person at heart. So when Tia asked me to paint Jett's portrait for Christmas, I was ecstatic! I'm really happy with how he turned out and enjoyed every moment painting him 🥰

I'm so excited to share the pet portraits I've been working on for the past couple of months! Thank you so much to everyone who as supported me this season and this year. Lately I've been struck by how incredible it is to actually be living the life I've dreamed of for decades. Practicing gratitude, being present and remembering to show up for my work with joy and love has brought me to this realization.

I hope you are having a beautiful holiday season with your loved ones and, especially, your fur babies!!!

This regal boy is Ram, who found his mom, Pat, in Saint Thomas. He is her constant companion and it is a pure joy to hear her talk about his personality ❤ Thank you to Marilyn for trusting me to paint Ram's portrait for her sister!

Finally took the opportunity to paint my Marble Barble ❤ it's just over a month until her 1 Year Gotcha Day and Spencer and I agree that it was the best decision we ever made!

Marbs is a little enigma that keeps us laughing every day. Part royalty, part potato, part weirdo 😂

I've always said that I paint best when I'm painting to scale. This past year, my portraits have gotten much more detailed and take considerably longer. I used to be able to finish a painting in a day or two, but now I can put 40-80 hours into a single portrait. These 5x7's came about when I questioned if I could paint a dog/cat much smaller than life. I've really enjoyed them and it feels great to finish a painting in a day or so, rather than a week.
