Virginia State Youth Ballet is excited to announce that a new staff member will be joining our team in June!! Onna White is an experienced dance teacher with a passion for ballet, contemporary dance and choreography. Onna has been taking adult classes with us and occasionally performing and helping out with our productions over the last two years. She already feels like family to us and we feel blessed that the next stage in her dance journey has led her to us!

Welcome, Miss Onna!!! We’re so looking forward to having you!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow! Our first night at Star Systems in Lenoir, NC and these girls ROCKED it! They all gave beautiful performances AND walked away scoring VERY well in the Intermediate Junior category!!

The votes are in! Virginia State Youth Ballet dancers chose the Radford Animal Shelter to support through Dancer Strong!

Tickets will be available at the door today at 4pm & 6pm.

Refreshments and Silent Auction items @ 5pm.

Tomorrow in Virginia State Youth Ballet’s Performance of Dancer Strong, these beauties will perform “Spring” and “Summer”.

Come see excerpts from the Four Seasons and other dancers by Youth Company members while helping dancers raise money for the Barbara Ostrander Scholarship Fund and a local charity!

Shows at 4pm & 6pm.
Silent Auction @ 5pm
Tickets $6 each, 2 & under free

This is truly one of my favorite performances and events we offer each year. The Dancer Strong Gala brings the best of so many people together! At this performance, I love watching young dancers be passionate about performing even to a smaller audience, using their talents to raise awareness and money for a cause that impacts our community for the better, and seeing our local businesses support both the arts and other charities is truly heartwarming and inspiring.
