We welcomed six high school choirs to campus today for pre-assessment clinics and to see what Radford has to offer! They visited faculty to hear about the various music degrees, observed/participated in clinics, and heard from the Radford Singers. We had a blast!

Our singers are hard at work preparing for our Winter Extravaganza concert where we are collaborating with the Radford University Wind Bands! One of the combined pieces includes Holst’s “Christmas Day”. We hope you’ll join us on Dec. 1st - more info coming soon! ❄️🎶

Thank you to everyone who attended our concert, “Listen”, either in person or virtually.

The final piece on the concert was Moira Smiley’s “I Have a Voice”, which we collaborated with the Radford University Department of Dance on. The beginning words “Listen — Speak out — Sing” encapsulated our semester: learning through research, having meaningful conversations, and collaborating are a few examples of how we are expanding our music-making process. We hope you’ll consider joining us next semester… we have some great things planned! 🎶
