🎭EXCITING RENOVATIONS AT GIFFORD’S THEATER!🎭

If you haven’t gotten a chance to peek at Gifford’s theater this week, you may hardly recognize it! Over the past several months, this incredible space has received some major upgrades, and we couldn’t be more excited about the transformation.

🎭 Renovations include:

New carpeting throughout the theater, aisles, stairs, and walkways
A refinished stage floor, giving our students a beautiful new performance surface
Fresh paint throughout the auditorium, creating a clean, modern theatrical look
An upgraded lighting system, giving our students access to improved technology and even more possibilities for future productions!
Even the theater bathrooms got an upgrade!

These renovations are about so much more than updating a building. They are an investment in our students, our performing arts programs, and the future of theater and performing arts at Gifford. Every improvement gives our young performers, technicians and musicians a better space to learn, create, collaborate, and discover what they are capable of.

And we’re not finished yet! Coming this holiday break, Gifford will undergo the demolition and installation of new seats for all of our amazing families, community members and supporters to enjoy our productions comfortably!

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped make these improvements possible. We can’t wait for our students to fill this renovated theater with music, laughter, creativity, and unforgettable performances for years to come.

The stage is ready. The lights are brighter. And Gifford Theater’s next chapter is just beginning!

For $250, you can sponsor a seat in Gifford's auditorium and receive a personalized plaque displayed on the back of the seat. Your sponsorship will help us replace auditorium seating and create a better experience for our students, performers, and audiences for years to come.

Stop by Gifford School for free breakfast and lunch for the kids!

REMINDER: We have five Wednesdays left for the new Grab-and-Go meal service at Gifford School. 📣CHILDREN MUST BE PRESENT to receive a week's worth of breakfasts and lunches.
Time: 8:30 - 10 AM
Dates: July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

We also have five Community Meal Sites for lunch at our Summer School locations. (Jerstad Agerholm K8, Julian Thomas Elementary, Mitchell School, Schulte School and Starbuck International K-8 School)
Time: 12:00 - 12:30 PM
Dates: Mondays - Thursdays through July 30.
Enter via the main entrance and proceed to the school cafeteria.

⭐️You do not need to be an RUSD student or enrolled in Summer School for either of these options.⭐️
